  • Thanks for the info. Much appreciated. So yeah, I'll wait, then.

  • I'm not an Acer employee.
  • Here is how i got it working

    Followed steps from http://www.thewindowsplanet.com/3765/dolby-home-theater-missing-after-windows-10-upgrade.htm

    1. Deleted the Realtek audio device from device manager

    2. Located audio driver (Win 7/8) in OEM folder and installed it. Mine was in C:OEMPreloadAutorunDRVRealtek Audio Codec ALC271X_VB6

    3. Restarted PC

    4. Installed 'DolbyHomeTheater.msi' from OEM foler. Mine was in C:OEMPreloadAutorunDRVRealtek Audio Codec ALC271X_VB6PCEE4PCEE4.2

    Voila!!

  • I was able to get it from Acer's support page, except I had to go to Aspire V5-572G's Windows 10 Drivers page and download that model's Audio Driver. It worked for mine (which is actually one number older, Aspire V5-571G).

  • I just tried BipinM's method, and it got mine to works well.
    Thanks!
